Privacy
Your files stay yours.
Pathsly runs entirely on your Mac. There is no account, no telemetry and no cloud component.
What we collect
Nothing by default. Pathsly has no account system, no analytics SDK and no crash uploader of its own.
Update check
Optional. Once the app ships, it will check pathsly.com/updates/appcast.xml once a day. The request will carry only the app version and macOS version, no identifiers. You will be able to turn it off in Settings → General.
SSH and Keychain
Key passphrases you choose to remember are stored in your login Keychain under the service com.pathsly.ssh. The app never writes them to disk. Remove them in Settings → SSH or in Keychain Access.
Docker
Pathsly connects only to the sockets and hosts you configure. Container data stays between your Mac and that engine.
Claude Code
Pathsly launches the Claude Code CLI already installed on your Mac. Prompts and file contents travel directly from the CLI to Anthropic under your own account and their terms. Pathsly does not see, log or store them.
Crash reports
Opt-in, through Apple’s standard crash reporting only. We receive what Apple shares with developers and nothing more.
This website
Self-hosted static pages with no cookies and no analytics. Fonts load from Google Fonts. The waitlist and contact forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser for bots when you use them. Server logs are kept for 30 days for security purposes.
Waitlist and messages
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and language only to tell you when Pathsly is available. Messages sent through the contact form are stored and delivered to our inbox so we can reply. We never share or sell either. Ask us and we delete them.
